Bellows - Takumar
Except for extra lens coatings in the latter, optically identical. No built in focussing mechanism.
These two pre-set lenses were the first made for bellows units. Used with a bellows unit they focus from infinity to greater than life-size.
The 4 Asahi Pentax Bellows units made from 1960 to 1974 take both lenses but different Asahi Pentax cameras.
For those who wish to take this further see Murray O'Neil's website "The Pentax Bellows, “Overlooked, Underused and Elegant” at The Pentax Bellows
This lens is reviewed under "Pentax 100mm f/4" at Mark Goodman's Coin Photography coinimaging.com/lens_tests_new.html?
(With focus stacking software now available these lenses used correctly will take you beyond the range of magnification of a macro lens.)
