This lens of seven elements in four groups was commissioned during the reign of the ASAHIFLEX IA. It is illustrated in the fully chromed silver form on the ASAHIFLEX IA manual. Late batches saw it fitted with black setting and focussing rings. This black form was briefly available in M42 mount for the first ASAHI PENTAX camera.
