INTRODUCTION
Batches of this first accessory lens began to be produced for the ASAHIFLEX I in early 1953 when the first version of the standard lens entered mass production. The lens remained in production, unchanged optically, throughout the reign of all ASAHIFLEX camera models and into the early M42 screw mount period for the ASAHI PENTAX. The former were made of chromed brass and out number the latter which are clad in black.
