INTRODUCTION
Produced for the Asahi Pentax SL on the domestic market. This lens was sold only in Japan and is rarely found elsewhere. It is the last Super-Takumar version of the 50mm. The white dot on the aperture position of the previous model is replaced by the numeral 2. Nevertheless it has 7 layer super-multi-coating using Thorium. Only seven batches were made. Those batches alternate with the last small batches of the previous model.
