INTRODUCTION
The first named Super-Takumar evolved from the Auto-Takumar (345). The aperture ring turns anti-clockwise to reduce the aperture.
The direction of rotation for aperture rings and A/M switches in the first two Super-Takumars inherited from (345) is reversed in all subsequent Super-Takumars, restoring clockwise movement to close the aperture as in all earlier Takumar lenses.
